Je še kaj boljšega kot priti iz morske vode k dobri knjigi? No ja, če sem iskrena, ima verjetno vsak izmed nas v glavi še kakšne bolj idealne ‘mokre sanje’, ampak te bomo tokrat zadržali zase. Ko sem vas povprašala, preko katerih vsebin se najraje učite tujega jezika, vas je večina (na moje izredno veselje) omenila branje knjig. Kot obljubljeno v prejšnjem zapisu, sem za vas pripravila seznam knjižnih priporočil v angleškem jeziku za vroče poletje. Za lažjo orientacijo sem knjige razdelila po žanrih in jih znotraj le-teh uredila po težavnosti (od najlažjih do najzahtevnejših). Ker nihče ne mara spoilerjev, knjige nimajo opisov, namesto tega pa se pod vsako nahaja vsaj en premišljeno izbran citat. Za maksimalen užitek izberite tiste, ki vas najbolj pritegnejo, in pripadajočo knjigo povabite na slepi zmenek (ali pa jih poguglajte, who am I to judge :)).

No, tako, mislim, da sem vas opremila dovolj dobro, da vam ne bo treba brati 50 Shades of Grey. Kljub temu vam za popotnico želim dati še dva kratka nasveta, povezana z branjem in učenjem angleščine:
1. Če niste preveč navezani na občutek prave knjige pod prsti in želite nadgraditi svoje besedišče, si knjige naložite na elektronski bralnik, saj vam zaradi njegovega odličnega slovarja ne bo treba iskati pomena vsake neznane besede posebej – en sam klik zadostuje!
2. Kljub temu da se želite med branjem učiti ali utrditi svoje znanje tujega jezika, je bistvo branja še vedno uživanje v zgodbi, zato se ne obremenjujte preveč, če česa ne razumete. Izberite nekaj, kar vam je pisano na kožo, in dajte možgane na (jezikovno) pašo.
